Behold, children are a blessing from God. Psalm 127:3
Our Story
In 2004, Dr. Pulliam founded a pediatric practice in his hometown of Henry County with a vision that went beyond treating symptoms. His goal was to provide comprehensive, whole-child care—addressing body, mind, and spirit—to build a foundation for lifelong health, hope, and well-being across generations. We envisioned communities filled with healthy, thriving, joyful families. While this approach challenged conventional pediatric practice models, we felt called to this deeper purpose.
Over the years, we built our practice on a foundation of genuine care and service, delivering the most evidence-based, comprehensive care available. What began as a small practice has flourished as families throughout our community embraced our whole-child care philosophy.
Growing to Serve You Better
2015 marked a pivotal technological advancement when we transitioned to a new medical record platform. This upgrade enhanced our ability to provide comprehensive care, monitor population health trends, and empower parents with 24/7 access to their child’s health information through secure communication channels.
In 2016, Piedmont Henry Hospital invited us to serve as the primary provider of newborn services—a responsibility we’re honored to fulfill for over 1,000 newborns annually. That same year, recognizing the critical importance of breastfeeding support, we opened Eagles Landing Breastfeeding Center, Georgia’s first comprehensive lactation support and breastfeeding medicine practice.
Our growth necessitated expansion. In 2017, we moved into a beautiful new facility more than three times our previous size. We welcomed three exceptional pediatric nurse practitioners to our team and achieved recognition as the area’s first nationally accredited pediatric patient-centered medical home.
By 2021, we expanded again, adding dedicated space for adolescent and young adult care. We also opened our Family Wellness Center—a community resource offering classes, support groups, developmental playdates, and programming for children and families. True to our mission, the Family Wellness Center serves our entire community, not just our patients.
People First
Covenant Care Pediatrics was founded on a simple but powerful principle: people come first. This means our team, our community, and our patients—all deserve personalized, compassionate, evidence-based care. Our goal is to see everyone flourish, grow, and reach their full potential.
We care for our team members as family because they are family. We treat them as we wish to be treated, supporting their professional development and personal well-being at every stage of their journey. When you join us, you’re joining a family dedicated to walking alongside you, just as we do with our patients and their families.
If your path eventually leads elsewhere, you’ll leave with our gratitude and blessing, equipped to make a positive difference wherever you go.
These principles remain our North Star, guiding us forward together.
We are a team dedicated to an extraordinary purpose: to inspire health, hope, and well-being for children, families, and communities. Helping children and families thrive. That is our passion and our dream.
